Chronic illness,  Disability

Hello! Welcome to Hannah’s Hope!

My name is Hannah and this is my first blog post. Hopefully the first of many!

I have been meaning to set up a blog for a long time but I have limited time in my busy schedule of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions, daily physiotherapy, part time studying, hospital appointments and the demands of being chronically ill and disabled!

It was about 11 years ago when I was an inpatient that it was suggested to me that I should start a blog…needless to say it has been a long time in the making! Back then I thought what would I write? I thought people would not want to read about how I was every day, especially when change was so slow, I thought I would be writing the same thing every day! Since then, I have realised there is so much I could write.

Why did I call my blog ‘Hannah’s Hope’?

Hope is a important aspiration to have in life. Hope has kept me going. I hope for the future. If we don’t have hope, what do we have?

I will blog about disability, illness, life and personal experiences. I hope to make a difference in my life and hopefully through my blog maybe the beginning. I hope you enjoy my blog.
