2024- My Hopes and Goals

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great festive season and are looking forward to 2024.

Below are my hopes and goals for 2024. However, who really knows what is in store, as sometimes life has other ideas! Nevertheless, this is my plan.

Blogging and Speaking Goals

I hope to continue my blog, reach more people and make a valuable impact in their lives. Change perception, promote equity and educate society, so we can all live our best life.

I already have at least one speech lined up, raising awareness of disability with children, the next generation, let’s train them young!

I will also continuing speaking and campaigning in my ambassador roles with White Lodge and Purple Tuesday.

Work

I am excited about being in the process of setting up a disability network at work, so watch this space. Hopefully, in 2024 it will become a reality.

I am changing my main ownership and responsibilities at work, so look forward to learning new things and being challenged.

ACCA

I am aiming to take my Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA) Performance Management (F5) and Financial Management (F9) exams. Hopefully one in June and one in December.

Christianity

I hope to finish off the ‘Bible Course’ with Caroline. We haven’t planned yet but I am sure we will be looking at another course of something after that.

Physiotherapy Goals and Independence

I made some valuable gains, particularly at the end of 2023. I look forward to improving on them further, gaining more mobility and independence. It is hard work, but hopefully it will be worth it.

However, I realise this may not all be feasible, and sometimes we are too hard on ourselves and just getting through the year is a success. Do you have any hopes and goals for 2024?
