2021- My Aims and Goals

Happy New Year! I know so far it has not been a ‘happy’ new year. I hope that there will be some improvement in the coming months. My first and main aim for the year of 2021 is just to survive and keep safe and that my family and friends are safe. I am sure this is something many of you can relate to.

2021- Aims and Goals

Goals for 2021

I don’t have too many goals at the moment, also the ones I do have I feel it is okay if I don’t achieve them; we live in a turbulent time. Furthermore, I have not been feeling great recently and it has just made me realise we need to be kind. I find it easier to be kind to others, but I am not so forgiving or good at being ‘kind’ to myself. This is probably not helped by having limited pots of time, due to energy and pain and things taking longer to complete or achieve.

Blogging, Mobility and Milestones

I hope to continue my blog and write regularly, but write freely and without the pressure of a regular twice a month schedule. I would like to transfer my blog to WordPress. Well, I say I, what I actually mean is get someone else to transfer it for me!

I aspire to continue improving my mobility and independence. I hope to complete a challenge which I will share with you shortly.

I will be turning 30. I don’t know if this should really be written here as it is not really an aim or goal, or in my control, but I suppose an event or milestone of the year.

Studying, Work and Volunteering

I aim to complete my CFJ (Foundation certificate in Journalism) or at least submit some more units.

I want to complete my accounting work experience and get a job for 3 or 4 hours one day a week. To gain my MAAT (Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians) initials after my name.

I plan to continue being involved with charities, making my handmade cards and fundraising for Starlight, spreading the good word about White Lodge and disability activism with Scope.

Christianity and Hope

I hope to learn more about Christianity, faith and be a good person.

Apologies, there is a lot of ‘hope’ in this post. Nevertheless, it is ‘Hannah’s Hope’ and I think we all need ‘hope’ at the moment.

Sending you much ‘hope’ 💜 Hannah x
